IDENA’s Vision for Poultry Nutrition
IDENA’s core vision is to support animal production through science-based nutrition while actively contributing to demedication in livestock. Our main focus is to provide natural and functional alternatives to traditional medicinal approaches, helping producers maintain performance through nutrition rather than treatment. In poultry, we focus on gut health, mineral balance, feed efficiency, and resilience of birds under commercial conditions. Our solutions combine R&D, field validation, and practical formulation expertise to ensure both technical efficiency and economic viability.

Global Poultry Industry Trends and Challenges
According to Franck Vaillant, the poultry industry is currently shaped by strong pressure on antibiotic reduction, feed cost volatility, and increasing genetic potential of birds. One of the major challenges is maintaining gut stability and performance in a context of reduced medication use. This drives a global shift toward preventive nutrition, functional additives, and precision feeding strategies that improve nutrient efficiency and animal robustness.

Supporting Sustainability and Antibiotic Reduction
Sustainability, gut health, and reduced antibiotic use are central pillars of IDENA’s nutritional approach.
The company develops feed additive solutions that support intestinal health, microbial balance, digestion efficiency, and oxidative stress management, helping poultry producers reduce their reliance on antibiotics while maintaining productivity.
IDENA’s solutions are backed by extensive R&D, laboratory studies, in vivo trials, and field validations conducted under different farming conditions worldwide. In addition, the company works on optimizing mineral and nutrient utilization to reduce environmental impact and improve sustainability at the farm level.
“The future of poultry production will
depend on our ability to combine
performance, sustainability,
and reduced medication use through
science-based nutrition and
innovative feed solutions.”
